On Friday, February 20, students are encouraged to dress in the colours they think should be the new school colours. For example, if you think New Dundee’s colours should be green and orange, come to school dressed in those colours. We are looking forward to seeing our students dressed in some great colour combinations. The students in Mrs. Nolet’s Grade 5 class will be visiting classes on Thursday, February 19 to share this event.

Just a reminder that New Dundee Public School invites you to submit a logo design for the school. All New Dundee Public School students, parents, siblings, relatives, or neighbors are eligible for the contest. Come up with a dragon image and keep it simple, creative and original. You can include up to four colours. Judging will be done by a group of New Dundee students, staff, school council members, and community members. It will be based on originality, design quality, and visual impact.

Entries become the sole property of New Dundee Public School and will not be returned. New Dundee Public School has the right to modify the design to meet the graphic requirements. Entries must be 8 ½” by 11” in size (vertical format). The following information must appear with each entry: name, home address, phone number, and name of student (if applicable).

The winning design will receive a free t-shirt and the student’s class will receive a class party. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Michelutti.
