At this time of year we prepare to say goodbye some of our educators. We wish four amazing teachers a fond farewell as they move on to new schools: Mrs. Tsetsekas, Ms. Lather, Mrs. Martin, and Mrs. Flowers. Mrs. Tsetsekas has taught countless eager children and has been a huge part of our team here at New Dundee. Mrs. Tsetsekas will be missed greatly by staff and students alike. There are other staff changes as occasional teaching terms come to an end. Even though Ms. Lather, Mrs. Martin, and Miss Flowers have only been with us for one year, they have all done a stellar job for our students and our school. Their influence with the Me-to-We team, the art club, and using Twitter will not be forgotten.

Monday, June 15: If you haven’t done so already, please return all of your library books. We wish our Grade 6 students the best of luck as they prepare for their Grade 6 celebration/graduation beginning at 6:45 p.m.

Tuesday, June 16: Students will be participating in electives. Please be sure to dress appropriately for the weather (some electives are taking place outdoors). Thank you to the teachers for organizing this fun event!

Wednesday, June 17: All of our junior students will be representing New Dundee at the Area Track and Field meet. Permission forms for this event is on School-Day. Parents are needed to help supervise students on this trip. Students in Kindergarten to Grade 3 will be participating in a special primary playday. Please remember to send appropriate clothes to keep your child sun safe.

Thursday, June 18: We are looking forward to seeing all of our volunteers in the library for our Volunteer Tea beginning at 8:45 a.m. The students in Room 1 will be celebrating their ancient times feast in the gym. We would like to wish Ms. Flowers the best of luck on her last day at New Dundee.

Friday, June 19: Welcome back Mrs. McLean to New Dundee. Mrs. McLean will be working with our Grade 1/2 class. Our kindergarten students will be visiting the new Wilmot Splash Pad. Students in Rooms 3 and 4 will be going on an exciting trip to the Fairview Mall and then going bowling.
