Does your child have trouble dealing with change? Does your child need support to solve problems? Does your child need encouragement to build resilience or independent skills? New Dundee Public School will be offering a special program this fall. Beginning on October 13, the Interfaith Community Counselling Centre will be offering a special weekly workshop for students in Grades 2 to 4. The sessions are designed to help students deal with anxiety, emotions, healthy relationships, communication, and problem solving. This group will meet on Tuesdays from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. for 8 weeks and will be led by Fiona Roth, a counsellor with Interfaith Community Counselling and supervised by Andrea Michelutti. This free opportunity is available to our school through a special grant from the United Way.

This group needs a minimum of 6 students and may have up to 10 students. If you are interested in having your child participate in this group, please email andrea_michelutti@wrdsb.on.ca by Friday, October 9. Confirmation emails will be sent out for the students participating in this group on Friday afternoon.

If you have any questions, please call Andrea Michelutti at 519-696-2296.
