On behalf of the staff of New Dundee P.S.we want to warmly welcome you back to another fantastic school year.  The staff here have been working hard to prepare programs and classrooms for our learners and are all excited to see the new and familiar faces on Tuesday.  We welcome Mme McDonnell to New Dundee to teach Core French while Mme Gawne is on maternity leave.  We expect to get regular updates from Mme Gawne throughout the fall.  We also welcome Mrs. Jamal in our Kindergarten team in a planning time position as well.  Mrs. Jamal comes from Winston Churchill P.S. where she worked closely from Mrs. Mesar.

On Tuesday your child will receive an openind day package with forms to be returned.  Below is a legend with requested return dates for various information items.

– Families inquiriing about transportation can visit www.stswr.ca.  With your child’s OEN you can access your updated ride times.

– ESNS is once again providing hot lunches for our students and they hope to have things in place for the last week of September.  Stay tuned for more information.

– Our Open House will take place on Thursday, September 15 from 5:50 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  Please save the date and join us to tour the school, meet the staff, and get us caught up on your summer activities.

– On Tuesday morning teachers will be outside starting at 9:00 a.m.  The staff will all be available to help guide students to their correct teacher (who will have signs) who will take them inside once the bell goes.  In case of rain we will all move indoors to the gym.

We thank you for entrusting your children with us and we will continue to serve our community in a manner that will, hopefully, live up to the great reputation that New Dundee P.S. carries.
