On Monday, January 26, 2026 all school buses, taxis and special education routes will be cancelled and all schools will be closed. Student, staff, parent, family and caregiver safety continues to be our priority. Our decisions are guided by current and predicted weather conditions, and out of an abundance of caution for the safety of WRDSB Students, Staff and Community.

All Secondary School Exams that are scheduled for Monday, January 26, will be postponed to the next school day.

Extended Day Programs, Child Care Centres located in our schools, and our Education Centre will be closed.

All WRDSB students, in both the in-person and remote learning programs can access asynchronous learning resources from their virtual learning environment, where applicable, and/or WRDSB@Home for resources. Students may also work on previously-assigned work or spend time reviewing material previously covered. 

All Waterloo County Secondary School Athletics Association (WCSSAA) sporting events are cancelled and will be rescheduled.
