As we continue to experience the joys of Canadian winter weather, it is important to remind students about their safety in this weather. In particular, students are reminded to be extra careful in walking to, and from school, staying off of roads even when sidewalks may be difficult to navigate As well, students should take extra precautions when crossing streets, and making sure that cars are actually stopped before crossing, to ensure that they are not slipping into intersections. Students should come to school dressed appropriately for winter, including snow pants, hats, mittens or gloves and boots.
